Honestly, the speech comes off a little worse unabridged than the version found in The Radical Reader (a book I like), but I figure we’re all adults here and we can handle it. She was a pistol and between the continued terrors of coal mining, mountain top removal, and the inspiring uprising in Wisconsin, it’s as timely as ever. History Is A Weapon, y’all.
