They’re going to tell you the revolution isn’t possible, that it can’t happen. Remember moments like this. You’ll meet people, often boys but not always, who are enamored with violent revolutionary aesthetics, remind them of moments like this, when people valiantly fought back with rocks, but who, at the first opportunity, pushed forward peacefully again and again. We can do it. And it may look very different, but it may look very much like Egypt these last few weeks: all swaths of society - women and men, children to the old, religious and secular, unorganized and organized labor - coming together to demand real change.
